Statement from the University at Buffalo regarding racist cyberattacks

The University at Buffalo’s Information Security Office identified a small number of printers on campus that may have been vulnerable to anti-Semitic cyberattacks directed at institutions nationwide. Our information security officers have taken steps to prevent future attacks.

Racist and discriminatory behaviors or conduct have no place at the University at Buffalo and will not be tolerated.  Whenever acts motivated by hatred or discrimination occur, the university will respond promptly to protect the safety and well-being of the entire university community.

Diversity, inclusion and mutual respect are strongly held values of our university.  We are committed to upholding these values at all times.
