UB'S 'True Blue Days' Turn Campus into a Fall Festival

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Homecoming Fan Fest is the highlight of the University at Buffalo's annual fall homecoming weekend, True Blue Days, and will transform UB's North Campus on Saturday afternoon Oct. 2o from noon-3 p.m. into a festival with carnival rides, street entertainers, live music, a massive tailgate buffet, a marching band parade and other celebratory activities to launch UB's Bulls football game against the Pitt Panthers.

Media are invited to attend any and all of the activities--with their accompanying color and energy showing UB's school spirit--as the campus community prepares for the game to kick off at 3:30 p.m.

A partial list of the Oct.20 activities is:

12 Noon: UB's True Blue Days Homecoming Fan Fest

Carnival games and prizes, bounce houses, a paratrooper ride, magician, balloon artist, caricature artist, photo booth, music and other entertainment.

1 p.m.: Family Weekend tailgate buffet begins (700 people registered)

1:30 p.m. (approx.): UB Bulls Walk to Victory

Participating in the parade will be the members of the UB football team as well as the UB Thunder of the East marching band. The parade takes place down Augsperger Road.

3:30 pm: Bulls vs. Pitt kickoff
