Media Advisory: New York Fed President William Dudley to speak at UB today

William C. Dudley, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, will speak at the University at Buffalo from 4-5 p.m. today in the Student Union Theater on the UB North Campus.

His presentation will be titled "How Goes the Recovery? Challenges for the Nation, the Region and the Fed." It will be followed by a question-and-answer session with audience members.

There will be a sign-in table for the media on the second floor of the Student Union Theatre. Members of the media may be asked to show press credentials.

Dudley serves as vice chair and a permanent member of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the group responsible for formulating the nation's monetary policy.

The event is sponsored by the UB School of Management, UB Office of Economic Engagement and UB's Office of the Provost.
