UB students living off campus will have a great opportunity to get to know their neighbors and their community on Sept. 5 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the UB Neighbors Day Block Party and Safety Fair.

It takes place on the UB South Campus lawn near Hayes Hall.

The fair will feature information tables staffed by local police and governmental agencies, university departments and businesses in the Main Street and Bailey Avenue areas.

Live music will be provided by Universal Minds, a band of musicians from Aspire of Western New York. There will be free food for the first 1,000 attendees.

Good back-to-school story!

For press arrangements, please contact Ellen Goldbaum in the UB Office of University Communications at 645-4605 and Dan Ryan, UB director of off- campus student services, on-site.
