UB to Announce Major, Multi-Million Dollar Investment in Life Sciences Industry in Buffalo

The University at Buffalo will announce a major investment in Buffalo's life sciences industry at a news conference today (Oct. 7) at 3:30 p.m. in UB's New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, 701 Ellicott Street in Buffalo, second floor.

The new project is positive news for economic and workforce development in Western New York as it will create a significant number of good jobs in the region.

It also will have dramatic implications for improving patient health care in the region.

The announcement will be made by UB President John B. Simpson, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and James R. Boldt, chairman and chief executive officer of CTG, the Buffalo-based global information technology corporation.
