6th Annual Free Community Event to Open 15th Anniversary Season at the UB Center for the Arts

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo Center for the Arts will open its 2009-10 season with a Center Celebration commemorating its 15th anniversary from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 26 at the center on the North (Amherst) Campus.

The free picnic lunch provided by UNO Chicago Grill and Perry's Ice Cream will be open to the general public (while supplies last), and will feature Sahlen's hot dogs and veggie sliders as part of the menu.

Live entertainment will include Doug Yeomans, The Buffalo Chips, Daughters of Creative Sound and the Dave Schiavone Quartet. Participant will be eligible to win door prize baskets and get great deals on 2009-10 center presentations with one-day discounts.
