BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo School of Management's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) will hold an open house for individuals interested in the CEL Core program from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on May 6 in the Jacobs Executive Development Center, 672 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo.

The 10-month CEL Core program, now in its 21st year, is designed to help Western New York businesses and entrepreneurs improve their bottom line and be successful. The program is accepting applications for September enrollment.

Nearly 700 CEL alumni employ more than 22,000 Western New Yorkers, and their businesses are worth more than $2 billion to the local economy.

Thomas Ulbrich, executive director of the CEL, and several Core program alumni will be available at the open house to answer questions.

"The Core program brings together individuals from a diverse group of businesses in an atmosphere that is focused and supportive," said Ulbrich. "Participants are able to examine their entrepreneurial strengths and weaknesses while exploring the challenges and opportunities that may affect the success of their businesses."
