Mager Receives New Investigator Grant

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Donald E. Mager, assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, received the AAPS New Investigator Grant in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics and Drug Metabolism.

He was recognized at the opening session of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists' (AAPS) 2007 Annual Meeting and Exposition, held recently in San Diego.

Mager's research focuses on identifying the molecular and physiological factors that control the pharmacological properties of various drugs, including antiplatelet, anticancer and immunomodulatory drugs.
