BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The realities and rewards of attending law school and a career in law will be the focus of a free program open to the public to be held from 5-9 p.m. June 10 in O'Brian Hall on the University at Buffalo North (Amherst) Campus.
The program, sponsored by the UB Law School, will include a keynote presentation at 6 p.m. in the Moot Court in O'Brian Hall by Leslie Foshio, U.S. magistrate judge for the Western District of New York. A 1965 graduate of the UB Law School, Foshio previously served as assistant district attorney of Erie County, corporation counsel for the City of Buffalo and an associate professor and assistant dean of admission for the University of Notre Dame Law School.
Also on the agenda are roundtable discussions with UB Law School students and alumni and breakout sessions on the law-school admission process and legal career options for law-school graduates.
Pre-registration for the program, for which space is limited, is required and may be completed by calling 645-2056 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Free parking will be available.
