Cox Named Associate Dean At UB Law School

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Jack D. Cox, Jr., former acting assistant dean at the University of Dayton School of Law, has been named associate dean and director of admissions and financial aid at the UB Law School.

In his new position, Cox will coordinate student-recruitment programs and law-school admissions and financial-aid policies.

He is secretary-treasurer of the National Network of Law School Officers and a member of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals and the National Association of Financial Aid Administrators.

Cox earned a bachelor's degree from Waynesburg College, a master's degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Certificate of Capital Advancement and Graduate Study in Higher Education Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VPI).

He has worked at VPI, Slippery Rock University and Bethany College.

Cox lives in Williamsville.
