BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Nineteen business people have graduated from the Executive MBA (EMBA) program in the School of Management.

The graduates completed an intensive 22-month curriculum designed for highly experienced managers who wish to develop expertise in complex management skills. The UB program is one of 150 accredited EMBA programs worldwide and is the only one in Western New York. More than 125 Western New York executives have graduated from the program since its establishment in 1994.

The graduates are Karen Adams of Amherst, vice president and collateral examination manager, HSBC; Timothy Balkin of East Amherst, director of financial planning and analysis, Moog; Joseph Bell of East Aurora, product-line manager, Moog; James Busser of Williamsville, regional account manager, Conrail; Michael Casseri of Getzville, district manager, W.W. Grainger; Mary Ann Deb of Williamsville, associate professor of nursing, Trocaire College; Mark Hall of Fort Wayne, Ind., reliability engineer, Dow Corning; Sally Haughey of Pittsburgh, controller, Bechtel Bettis; Vaseem Iqbal of Getzville, pediatric radiologist, Medical Partners of WNY, and Kathy Kubiak of Cheektowaga, program manager, ACTS Testing Labs.

Also, Michael Ratajczak of Orchard Park, technology center director, Moog; Dolores Rugg of Williamsville, vice president for human resources, Elderwood Affiliates; Ravi Rungta of East Amherst, staff engineer, Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems; Douglas Scheid of Grand Island, principal, Scheid Architectural; William Senif of Middleport, director of sales and marketing, Reid Petroleum Corp.; Donald Seitz of Williamsville, senior financial analyst, Moog; Zsuzsanna Snow of Amherst, audit project leader, Xerox Corp.; Christopher Tzetzo of East Amherst, director of marketing, Tzetzo Bros., and Melissa Wikman of Buffalo, manager of account marketing, Fisher-Price.
