BUFFALO, N.Y. -- More than 50 wines from four regions in Spain will be featured during the Spanish Wine & Tapas Festival, to be held from 6-8:30 p.m. March 11 in the Atrium of the Center for the Arts on the University at Buffalo North (Amherst) Campus.
Sponsored by the UB Alumni Association, the event also will feature tapas (light snack foods) to complement the vintages.
Hosted by Premier Wine Group and Joseph Goode of Tempranillo Importers, the festival will highlight wines selected by Jorge Ordonez, named one of the top wine personalities of 1997 by Wine and Food magazine.
Tickets are $40 per person for the general public and $30 each for UB Alumni Association members and their guests. For reservations, call the UB Office of Alumni Relations at 829-2608.
