Colloquium On Frank Lloyd Wright to Be Held At UB

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A colloquium for researchers and scholars to present their work on the architect Frank Lloyd Wright and his relationship to Western New York will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Oct. 24 in the University at Buffalo Archives, 420 Capen Hall on the UB North (Amherst) Campus.

The regional forum is sponsored by the University Archives, the Architectural and Planning Library, The School of Architecture and Planning, Lockwood Memorial Library and the Office of the Associate Vice President for University Libraries, all at UB. It will be free and open to the public.

Special guests will be John C. Courtin, executive director of the Martin House Restoration Corp., and Carol Bronnenkant, president of Graycliff Conservancy.

o John Quinan, UB professor of art history and curator of the Darwin D. Martin House, on Frank Lloyd Wright and Darwin D. Martin

o Connie Lydon, landscape architect with Lydon Landscape and Design, Inc., on the Boynton House landscape

o Ted Lownie, architect for the Martin House Restoration Corp., on Martin House art glass

o Pat Mahoney, vice-president of Graycliff Conservancy, on Graycliff and the Isabelle R. Martin estate
