"UB Today" Cable Tv Program Announces October Lineup

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Find out what's happening at the University at Buffalo by tuning in to "UB Today," a 30-minute program that airs on Adelphia and TCI cable.

William J. Evitts, executive director for alumni relations, and Judith Schwendler, assistant director, host the program, which highlights research, projects, events and activities at UB.

A new program airs and is rebroadcast each month.

Scheduled for the October show are interviews with Kerry S. Grant, dean of UB's new College of Arts and Sciences; Harold Brody, SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor Emeritus in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology and founder of UB's Museum of Neuroanatomy; Tom Jackovic, executive director of the Blue & White Club, who will discuss the Junior Bulls Program, and Jeffrey Lackner, clinical associate professor of anesthesiology, who will discuss the University at Buffalo Pain Service.

Air times on Adelphia are 6:30 p.m. on Sundays on Channel 18 International and on Channel 10 in Lancaster, Clarence, Orchard Park, Lockport and Elma, and 9 p.m. on Mondays on Channel 18 International. The show also airs on TCI in Buffalo on Channel 21 at 6:30 p.m. on Fridays.
