Students Win Capen Awards For Academic Achievement

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Fifty-two University at Buffalo students are recipients of the 1998 Grace Capen Memorial Award in recognition of high academic achievement.

The award, established in 1975 by the UB Women's Club, is given to sophomore undergraduates who have a 3.9 or higher grade-point average after a minimum of 45 hours of coursework at UB.
