Meli Named President of UB Engineering Alumni Association

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Frederick P. Meli, a 1976 graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, has been elected president of the UB Engineering Alumni Association for 1997-98.

Meli, a senior marketing engineer with KTA-TATOR, Inc., received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from UB. He resides in Tonawanda.

Other officers elected by the association are Louis A. Picciano, B.S. '65, of Depew, a retired electrical engineer with Calspan, secretary; Jonathan E. Kolber, B.S. '72, M.S. 74, of Tonawanda, a civil engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, corresponding secretary; Stephen Duechi, B.S. '93, M.Eng. '95, of Orchard Park, an engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers, treasurer, and Stephen J. Golyski, B.S. 73, M.S. '81, of North Tonawanda, an engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers, past president.
