UB’S Institute For Tax Studies to Present Tax Legislative Update

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A "tax legislative update" will be presented by the Center for Management Development and the Institute for Tax Studies in the University at Buffalo School of Management on Oct. 31, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., in the Buffalo/Niagara Marriott, 1340 Millersport Highway, Amherst.

Speakers from the Institute for Tax Studies will discuss tax-law changes related to the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997, with a focus on provisions affecting individuals, corporations and international transactions. Tax provisions of the 1997-98 New York State budget also will be covered.

Cost of the program is $175 per person and includes a continental breakfast and all materials. Participants will earn five hours of continuing-professional-education credit. For more information, contact the Institute for Tax Studies office at 645-3200
