BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Six students were honored during commencement ceremonies held recently by the the University at Buffalo's Graduate School of Social Work.

€ Kim McClive of Buffalo was awarded the School of Social Work Alumni Association Award, for demonstrating a commitment to the social work profession, and the Archie W. Swanson Honorary Award, for demonstration professional integrity, creativity and respect.

€ Jennifer Griffiths of Lancaster was awarded the Gwen Goldberg Memorial Award, for excellence and creativity in field work.

€ Janice Litz of Lockport won The National Association of Social Workers Award, for demonstrating academic excellence and epitomizing the values of the NASW.

€ Donna Saskowski of Darien Center received the Dena P. Gold Memorial Award, for outstanding studies related to families, women and/or children.

€ Karina Zimmer of Amherst won the Dorothy L. Lynn Honorary Award, in recognition of outstanding performance in class and field.

€ Julliane Grasso of West Seneca was awarded the Niles Carpenter Scholarship, for strong field experience, financial need, an outstanding grade-point average and potential for professional achievement.
