Advanced Education in General Dentistry Advanced Certificate

School of Dental Medicine

Program Description

The Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program reflects a private general practice setting as closely as possible in an educational environment. Residents in the traditional program spend a year learning advanced concepts and their applications in the program’s comprehensive care clinic. Residents enrolled in the International Scholars Program spend two years concurrently working on the AEGD certificate while pursuing a Master’s degree. In addition to outstanding resources being available within a world-renowned facility, distinguished faculty in the program include general dentists and specialists.
