One hundred and forty-three students will receive medical degrees.

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences will hold its 170th commencement at 1:30 p.m. April 29, 2016, in the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts on the UB North Campus.

One hundred and forty-three students will receive their degrees, including four MD/PhD degrees; six MD/MBA degrees; two MD/oral and maxillofacial surgery degrees and one MD/MPH degree.

The keynote speaker will be Mukesh K. Jain, MD, the Ellery Sedgwick Jr. Chair and Distinguished Scientist and director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute, Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.

Jain, an alumnus of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, also received his undergraduate degree from UB. He will speak on “The Privilege to Impact.”
