Job-seekers invited to Yahoo! job fair at UB this week

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Yahoo! is looking to fill more than 100 customer care positions in the Lockport area, and job-seekers are invited to attend a Yahoo! job fair this week at the University at Buffalo to apply.

The firm will be hosting walk-in interviews at UB from 1-7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Candidates should bring a resume, and must have a bachelor’s degree with a 3.2 grade point average or higher. The jobs begin in July.

What: Yahoo! job fair

When: June 18-21, from 1-7 p.m., each day.

Where: The Center for Tomorrow on UB’s North Campus in Amherst. The Center for Tomorrow is building No. 53 in the purple portion of this map, near the intersection of Flint and Service Center Road: http://bit.ly/K2jlVt.

Positions available: Yahoo! is seeking more than 100 case manager/customer care agents, as well as a limited number of customer experience supervisors. Full job descriptions available for download to the right.

What to bring: Applicants should bring a printed resume. A bachelor’s degree and graduating GPA of 3.2 are required.
