BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present The Pink Floyd Experience on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre in the Center for the Arts, UB North Campus.

Without question, Pink Floyd remains one of the most influential rock bands of all time. With a spectacular new light show, full quadraphonic sound and six brilliant musicians, The Pink Floyd Experience offers the most authentic Floyd experience possible. Audiences are raving about this epic tribute concert -- this is the show for the ultimate Floyd Fan!

Today, years since their last live performance, Pink Floyd's appeal continues to spread from generation to generation. The band has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide since 1967. Dark Side of the Moon shattered records when it stayed on the Billboard Top 200 album charts for 741 weeks, a streak that lasted from 1973 to 1988. In addition to four Grammy nominations in three different decades, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. The Floyd catalogue continues to sell nearly 1 million copies each year worldwide.

Pink Floyd shows were described as theatrical with mind-blowing lights and unsurpassed sound. In keeping with this tradition, The Pink Floyd Experience not only replicates Floyd's show onstage, but also engulfs the audience with a full-on sensory assault complete with interpretive videos, plane crashes, a flying pig and even a helicopter.
