News Conference: Multi-Million-Dollar Gift to UB from Anonymous Donor is Largest in University History

The University at Buffalo will hold a news conference tomorrow (Wednesday, September 21) to announce receipt of a major, multi-million-dollar gift from a UB alumnus who asked to remain anonymous.

The gift to UB is the largest from an individual donor in the university's 165-year history. The gift will fund a key UB priority, and will benefit the university, its students and the community.

The news conference is part of a weeklong series of events celebrating the inauguration of Satish K. Tripathi, PhD, as UB's 15th president.

When: An announcement will be made at 10:30 a.m., Wed., September 21.

Where: UB's Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, 701 Ellicott St., Buffalo.
