Public Invited to Events Celebrating Inauguration Week at UB

The public is invited to attend lectures, forums, grand openings, concerts, exhibits and other events in celebration of the inauguration of UB's 15th president, Satish K. Tripathi.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo will celebrate the inauguration of its 15th president, Satish K. Tripathi, with a week-long series of events, Sept. 19-23. Related art exhibitions will begin before and run beyond that week. All events are open to the public and all but a few are free of charge.

Sept. 19

• SUNY Distinguished Professors Colloquium: "The Mission of Public Research Universities in the 21st Century," Center for the Arts Black Box Theatre, North Campus. 10:30 a.m. to noon. Free.
