BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Colbie Caillat on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre in the Center for the Arts, UB North Campus. Andy Grammer will open the concert.

Armed simply with her warm vocals and sunny disposition, Colbie Caillat continues to resonate with listeners and win new fans. Caillat was the first true Myspace.com discovery. With no marketing push and only the strength of her music behind her, Caillat became a sensation on the social networking site when she began uploading songs to her page. Little more than a year later, she released her debut album, CoCo, which wound up becoming a double platinum album.

All of You, the third and most intriguing release from Caillat, is definitely and unmistakably a Caillat gem. The breezy, acoustic guitar-pop that burst forth from her debut, Coco, and 2009's Breakthrough, is evident throughout every track on All of You. Caillat is now able to channel emotion and insight that comes only when a gifted artist can portray the lessons they have learned into their music. "These songs still have the bright feeling and California vibe I love," says Caillat, "but they're also songs that I write from my experiences."

About Caillat, USA Today has said, "Colbie Caillat's third and best album to date finds the singer/songwriter walking on sunshine, and don't it feel good. Inspired by a friendship that evolved into love… All of You is a delightful summer tonic, full of buoyant, hopeful tunes that prove positivity needn't be childish or cloying, even in generous portions."

Caillat is a two-time Grammy Award winner for her collaborations with Taylor Swift and Jason Mraz. Her second album, Breakthrough, was also nominated for two Grammy Awards and included the hit single "Fallin' for You." She has sung the National Anthem at the kickoff of the 2010 NFL Season and even performed at the Nobel Peace Concert in Oslo. In 2009 Billboard named her the Breakthrough Artist of the Year and awarded her single "Bubbly," one of the bestselling digital tracks of all time, Song of the Year.
