UB Department of Theatre and Dance to Present 2011 UB Summer Dance Program

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo Department of Theatre and Dance will present the UB Summer Dance Program this summer. Classes will be held in the Dance Studio (Room B82) in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. All members of the dance community are welcome.

Daytime Program -- July 11-15

Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. to noon

Intermediate/Advanced level

Classes are open to ages 13and over with at least five years of dance experience

Ballet daily, alternate Modern and Jazz

Price: $200/Pre-registration before July 1: $175

A new class, Yoga for the Dancer, will be offered

-- Monday, Wednesday and Friday noon to 1 p.m.

-- Only $30 additional

Evening Program - June 20-23, June 27-30, August 1-4, August 8-11

Monday-Thursday: 6-7:30 p.m.

Intermediate/Advanced level

Classes are open to ages 16 and over with at least five years dance experience

Classes will be taught by UB faculty and guest teachers

Price: $15 per class

A new class, Yoga for the Dancer, will be offered

-- Aug. 1, 3, 8, and 10: 7:30-8:30 p.m.

-- $10 per class

No registration is required.
