UB's Millard Fillmore College to Hold Open House

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo's Millard Fillmore College -- the university's division for continuing education -- will hold its annual Open House 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, in 128 Parker Hall on the South Campus.

The open house will feature Millard Fillmore College faculty and staff who will be on hand to answer questions on curriculum, programs, financial aid, scholarships, student services and other opportunities for adults rethinking their careers or planning another career. Refreshments will be served.

The college specializes in career-growth track certificate programs such as entrepreneurship, human resources, information technology and business solutions, life sciences and paralegal students. The college's Academic Writing Institute emphasizes improving writing skills, for both professional and academic settings.

The college, UB's college for continuing education and academic outreach, serves adult nontraditional students through UB's Division of Continuing and Professional Studies. Millard Fillmore College offers a full complement of credit and noncredit academic programs and opportunities for the adult learner.
