The University at Buffalo has postponed the presentation of a memorial bench to the Buffalo Fire Department originally scheduled for 8 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010). The presentation will be made at a later date and time to be announced.
The bench was designed by students in the UB School of Architecture and Planning in memory of Buffalo firefighters Charles "Chip" McCarthy and Jonathan Croom, who died in a fire on Genesee Street in August 2009.
