CNBC's Senior Economics Reporter, a UB Grad, to Speak

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo's Office of Gift Planning is pleased to announce that Steve Liesman, senior economics reporter for CNBC, will give a presentation on The Great Recession: What have we learned? Where are we going?

The talk will take place on Oct. 8 from 9-11 a.m. in the Center for Tomorrow on UB's North (Amherst) Campus. Liesman, a 1985 graduate of UB, will offer an insider's perspective on our economy.

Liesman reports on all aspects of the economy, including the Federal Reserve Bank and major economic indicators. He also appears on "Squawk Box" as well as other NBC and CNBC programs throughout the business day.
