Media Advisory: UB Farmers Market to Highlight Safety

The weekly University Community Farmers Market Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon, will have a safety theme, featuring child-seat safety checks by University Police officers, as well as practical portable fire extinguisher training for community members, presented by UB's Environmental Health and Safety office.

Representatives from UB's Off-Campus Student Resident Task Force will be available to discuss UB-community concerns and initiatives.

The University Community Farmers Market runs every Saturday through October 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with special events slated for the first Saturday of the month.
