BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present One Night of Queen Performed by Gary Mullen & The Works at 8 p.m. on April 6 in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus.

One Night of Queen celebrates the music of Freddie Mercury and Queen.

When Gary Mullen won the British television show "Stars In Their Eyes" Grand Final in 2000 (receiving a record 864,000 votes from viewers) as Freddie Mercury, he began a fantastic journey that has so far taken him to virtually every theatre and concert hall in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Holland and New Zealand. Now Mullen continues his amazing adventure with his first tour of more than 40 cities across the United States.

His shows, together with his band "The Works," are receiving rave reviews from audiences of all ages including legendary Queen guitarist Brian May.

Gary Mullen and the Works recently appeared in Hyde Park, London, where an audience of 40,000 joined Gary and the band in rousing renditions of "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Are the Champions," "Somebody to Love" and "Another One Bite The Dust."

Tickets for One Night of Queen Performed by Gary Mullen & The Works are $26 general admission, students $14. Tickets are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Center for the Arts Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations, including ticketmaster.com.
