UB School of Management Alumni Association to Present Forum on Global Opportunities for WNY Businesses

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo School of Management Alumni Association will host a forum entitled "Global Opportunities for Western New York Businesses" from 7:30-9 a.m. on March 26.

The forum, now in its third year, will include a panel of area experts who will discuss a range of topics, such as tax aspects of international trade, protection of intellectual property rights in the international arena and the current business climate for international trade.

Panel participants will include Howard B. Epstein, CPA and tax director, Freed Maxick & Battaglia, CPAs, PC; William H. Nehill, president, International Technology Group Inc.; R. Kent Roberts, registered patent attorney and senior associate, Hodgson Russ LLP; and Holly Sinnott, executive director, World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara.

Sujata Yalamanchili, a partner at Hodgson Russ LLP, will moderate the panel.

The forum will be held in the Center for Tomorrow on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. A full breakfast buffet will be served from 7:30-8 a.m., followed by the panel discussion from 8-9 a.m.

The cost for the event is $25 for the general public and $20 for members of the UB School of Management Alumni Association. The deadline for registration is March 21.
