School of Health Related Professions Honors Graduates

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Thirty-five new graduates of the University at Buffalo School of Health Related Professions were honored with scholarships and awards during the school's recent commencement ceremony.

The award recipients are:

• Jennifer Dembinski of Cheektowaga -- Sara Marie Cicarelli Memorial Scholarship, Niagara Frontier Chapter ASCLS Scholarship and New York State ASCLS Scholarship

• Johnna L. Pike of Getzville -- Francis Hanavan Award

• Bryan E. Wilk of Syracuse -- Carlton R. Meyers Award

• Sharon M. Markel of Holland -- Occupational Therapy Department Chair's Award

• Kirstie Jeanine Shanley of Buffalo -- Occupational Therapy Department Scholarship Award

• Melissa Nahigian of East Amherst -- Occupational Therapy Department Scholarship Award. She also was inducted into the Tau Chapter of Pi Theta Epsilon, the Occupational Therapy Honor Society

• Kristin Gerlach of Rochester -- J. Warren Perry Scholarship

• Laura M. Stockmeyer of Hamburg -- J. Warren Perry Scholarship. She also received a Stonegraber Scholarship.

• Elizabeth Siegel of Cuba -- Kathleen M. Shaffer Memorial Award. She also received a Stonegraber Scholarship.

The following students were inducted into the Tau Chapter of Pi Theta Epsilon, the Occupational Therapy Honor Society
