Zodiaque Dance Company to Present Spring Concert, “Ripples Too”

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Zodiaque Dance Company will present its spring concert, Ripples Too, Feb. 15-18 and 22-25 in the Drama Theatre in the Center for the Arts on the North Campus.

Directed by Tom Ralabate, the dance concert will feature two distinguished Zodiaque alumni as guest artists: guest choreographer Jody Dombrowski will present a contemporary work centering on themes of creation and evolution, and Roberto Villaneuva, guest choreographer and "Mr. Dance of America 1993" will choreograph for the company and be a featured performer in a solo presentation. Also featured will be pieces by UB faculty members Tom Ralabate, Jeanne Palmer-Fornarola, Lynne Kurdziel-Formato, Karen Georger and Joyce Lichtenberger.

Performance will be held at 8 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays. In addition, a talk-back session with the choreographers will be held at 1:45 p.m. Feb. 18 in the Drama Theatre.

Tickets for Zodiaque Dance Company are $12 for the general public and $5 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at the Center Box Office from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and at all Ticketmaster locations, including Kaufmann's and Movies Plus.
