UB Blue & White Club Names New Officers, Board Members

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Blue & White Club of the University at Buffalo Division of Athletics has appointed several area residents to its 1998-99 board of directors.

North Buffalo resident Gina Collora, president/owner of Hunter Placement, Inc., and Hunter Temporaries, is serving as president of the club, which helps raise funds for UB student-athlete scholarships, enhance the visibility and reputation of UB athletics and honor supporters of the program.

Other officers appointed by the club are Marc Adler of Williamsville, marketing director of Flynn & Friends, vice president, and James Cecchini of East Amherst, vice president of The Legend Group, second vice president.

The club also elected several new board members for a three-year term. They are Laura Barnum of North Tonawanda, assistant director of finance for the UB Division of Athletics; Anthony Cipolla of Lockport, vice president of Dean Witter Reynolds; Andrea Costantino of Buffalo, director of student unions at UB; Leon Henderson of Williamsville, retired director of personnel for the Buffalo Public Schools, and Joanne Wzontek of Buffalo, account executive for Moore Stickney Associates.

The following were re-elected to three-year terms as board members: Adler; Kimberly Crooks of Amherst, assistant dean for education support services in the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences; Cecchini, and John F. Dunbar, Jr. of Clarence, senior vice president of Strategic Investments & Holdings, Inc.
