BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Thousands of records and CDs will be on sale at WBFO's final "Vinyl and CD Madness," to be held on Aug. 29-30 in Allen Hall on the University at Buffalo South (Main Street) Campus.
The fund-raiser will benefit the operation and programming of WBFO 88.7 FM, the National Public Radio affiliate operated by UB. A wide range of music donated by WBFO listeners will be available, including jazz, classical, folk and rock.
WBFO members can preview and purchase items from 9-11 a.m. on Aug. 29. The general public will be admitted from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 29 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 30. WBFO staff and volunteers will be on hand to help with selections.
