Postdoctoral Scholars

The Office of Postdoctoral Scholars provides a formal communication link among postdoctoral scholars, faculty and university administration.
The Postdoctoral Research Symposium showcases the research done by postdoctoral scholars through a research abstract/poster competition and a three-minute oral presentation competition. The top three abstract/poster presentations and the top two three-minute presentations will be recognized at the event.
This seven-week seminar series is offered exclusively to postdoctoral scholars, on various topics in teaching and learning. These sessions cover everything from how to engage and motivate students to how to utilize technology to increase student learning. The seminar series is held during the spring semester.
Established by the Office of Postdoctoral Scholars in 2009, the Distinguished Postdoc Mentor Award is awarded on an annual basis to faculty members who excel in the mentoring of postdoctoral scholars.
