The OPS provides a formal communication link among Postdoctoral Scholars, faculty, and the University administration. We provide assistance for new Postdoctoral Scholars, including:

National Postdoctoral Association

The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) is a member-driven, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides a unique, national voice for postdoctoral scholars.  Joining the NPA not only will give you access to an extensive postdoc network but you also will receive a growing number of benefits:

  • The 2015 Postdoc Research Symposium will be held on June 5, 2015 at the Center for Tomorrow on UB's North Campus.
  • Teaching and Learning Professional Development Workshops for Postdocs:
 This is a 6-week class offered each term exclusively to postdocs on various topics in teaching and learning. At the end of the program, each participant will receive a certificate of participation.
