Admissions Requirements

General guidelines for getting into UB – please ask your program about specific requirements.

General Requirements

Admission requirements are different for each graduate program. In general, we expect:

  • A “B” (GPA of 3.0) or better grade point average
  • Appropriate standardized test scores (DAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MAT, MCAT, PCAT etc.)
  • Letters of recommendation
  • An internship or relevant work experience (for some programs)
  • International applicants – a minimum score of 79 on the Internet-Based TOEFL (iBT)
  • Requirements for admission vary by program
